Havana

Havana, also referred to as "Florida's Friendliest Small Town" was founded in 1906.  At the time, the major crop was shade tobacco, prompting the adoption of the town's name.  Today, Havana is home to over thirty specialty shops, which include new and antique furniture, unique collectibles and art galleries mostly located in the quaint downtown.  Situated only 14 miles north of Tallahassee, Havana is an excellent choice for the student or commuter who prefers a slower, small-town lifestyle.
